This week marked the 200th anniversary of the Peterloo Massacre. Let's remember the protesters who bravely stood up for the rights of working people. And let's strengthen our resolve to win rights at work fit for the 21st century.
200 years ago today 18 people were killed and hundreds injured as they protested for the representation of working people. The Massacre at Peterloo sowed the seeds for universal suffrage and the trade union movement. Today we remember those brave protesters.

A big thank you to everyone who made it to Leeds today and to all those who sent messages of solidarity to the workforce at Asda. Together we've sent a clear message to Asda bosses: #AsdaRespectYourWorkers
Asda workers are being threatened with the sack unless they sign a punishing contract. Today Asda workers from every corner of the country came together to demand a better deal. Will you stand with us? 👇
